We have invested significantly in research and development to carefully and methodically formulate and produce each and every GoLive® product. We have been asked by many "experts" on many occasions, "Why do you use such expensive ingredients and packaging?" The answer is and will remain, very simply, "We do not let the cost of an ingredient or packaging material drive our product formulation and production efforts. Rather, we let our research and development efforts yield the highest-quality and most efficacious product formulations and appropriate packaging." We will always stay true to our mission "...to develop and formulate the most effective blends of probiotics, prebiotics, amino acids, vitamins and other ingredients, available in any form."
Experience the GoLive Difference:
Better Probiotics. Better Prebiotics. Better Delivery. Better YOU!®
"Probiotics are live microorganisms, which when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host" - World Health Organization, 2001; Harvard Medical School Division of Nutrition, 2005.
"Unlike probiotic species of lactobacilli, members of the genus bacillus are not considered normal members of the intestinal flora and do not persist in the mammalian gastrointestinal tract."
- American Society of Microbiology (ASM)
"The combination of a probiotic and a prebiotic increases the survival and activity of probiotics in the gut and helps to stimulate the growth of healthy bacteria locally."
- Nutrition and Metabolism, 2011.
PREBIOTICS ARE, VERY SIMPLY, CARBOHYDRATES PROBIOTICS CONSUME TO SURVIVE, GROW AND FLOURISH.
In various GoLive® products, the addition of l-glutamine, an amino acid, vitamin D3 and other essential minerals play a key role in improving the "integrity" of the epithelial cells of the gastrointestinal tract to allow bacterial colonization.
While overly simplified, think of it as cleaning and priming a wall before painting it.
GoLive® products contain freeze-dried probiotics that are packaged in foil. Whereas paper, cardboard, plastic and other materials allow moisture to permeate, foil prevents exposure to moisture-carrying oxygen (which would bring the probiotics out of their freeze-dried state prematurely) and heat-generating light (which would harm and result in bacterial die-off).
GoLive® ready-to-drink beverages and teas utilize our exclusive, patented foil-blister cap, and GoLive® powder packets are individually packaged in foil sachets. Thus, we ensure the viability of probiotics when it counts...at time of consumption!! Once the foil-blister cap is "pushed and popped" into the beverage or the foil sachet is opened and blended with a beverage or food, the probiotics return to a live state and begin consuming the prebiotic non-GMO cane sugar and the prebiotic non-GMO soluble fibers...and grow and flourish.
Unlike other probiotic products consumed in a static static state (not the manner in which probiotics were consumed when in our food supply; nope our food was not enterically-coated) or in a post-fermented state (which produces alcohol, causes probiotic die-off and leaves yeast of spore-formers), GoLive® probiotics are in a dynamic, live and growing state when consumed...with the probiotic CFU count actually increasing!!
Approximately 90% of the cells in the human body consist of "good" and "bad" bacteria, most of which are in the gastrointestinal tract, the location of 100% of the digestive function, the basis of the metabolic function and the location of 70-80% of the immune function.
